Teachers and dancers maintain their own local SQLite databases. When syncing, lesson schedules, attendance intentions, and progress feedback are encrypted with AES-256 before upload. No class rosters or classmate records are ever exposed to other dancers.
We believe family data and children's competition records should never be tracked or monetized. FeisClár is engineered with a strict local-first architecture.
All dancer names, grades, competition results, checklists, and notes are stored solely in your offline device SQLite database.
When sharing results with your teacher, records are encrypted with AES-256 on your device before transit. Only your verified teacher holds the decryption key. Encrypted sync content is accompanied by readable connection metadata and technical service logs.
Opt-in by design. Dancers or teachers can disable sync or remove a student anytime, stopping further sharing and requesting relay removal; offline requests retry when connectivity returns.
Your location is never logged or tracked. Venue maps use standard public venue coordinates without tracking your movements.
No user account or password is required to browse feiseanna. Devices use an anonymous randomized UUID solely to sync public schedules.
Complete data export available anytime. Generate JSON backups of all bookmarks, scheduled alerts, packing lists, and scores with a single tap.
Calendar, notifications, and storage permissions are only accessed when you explicitly request an action.
Inspect your local SQLite database health, monitor encrypted relay connections in real time, and export full offline backups anytime with zero cloud lock-in.
